Brine & Bastards: Tour Day Five: The Stars Shine Bright so Big and Bright

Austin far exceeded my expectations. From what I was told it would be filled with musicians, great BBQ and pretty girls. The streets we filled with cool shops, great places to eat, and bars as far as the eyes can see. If it weren't so hot I'd say it may be heaven. Seriously tho, it was hot as hell. I'm pretty sure I spent the entire day dehydrated but nothing on this earth was gonna stop me from eating at Stubbs BBQ. After a great meal, I went back to EMO's for the show. We played the back room which is half open air with an outdoor bar and Stoneys Pizza.

The place was packed and even with the open air it was still super hot. Everybody was in rare form tonight. I think after a few shows I'm already running out of adjectives to describe how good Reggie is. I think that if there weren't three other bands just killing it every night I'd have a little more to say but the fact is, every night is better than the next. Maybe I'm just exhausted from the Texas Heat.

Things of note that happened in Texas. I saw the Alamo Drafthouse, but instead of going to a movie I checked out The Terrible Twos at Stubbs. Upon arrival in Austin we were greeted by a Segway Tour, which I think could possibly be the funniest/lamest thing I have ever seen. I had a Jimmy Johns Sandwich which was yummy. I pulled a muscle in my leg during LM's set. I got a free Massage. They had High Life in Talls at EMO's. Maybe Austin really is Heaven
